How to Trust the Process When Things Do Not Feel ClearJul 03, 2022
Depending on the situation, trusting the process might be a great feat that seems unattainable, especially when you are in a state of transition. You might not know how to trust the process when things do not feel clear?
Have you been here before?
- You had a plan and it seemed like a great one, however it didn't work out the way you had hoped.
- Everything that you thought and believed turned out to not be what it seemed
- Life changes, people change and so does everything around you.
- You keep hitting roadblocks. As soon as one is dealt with a new one comes up
There are many more examples, however I'm sure you get the idea and if you have experienced any of these situations it can be frustrating, disheartening and at times overwhelming and you might not always be in a state of trusting the process.
I believe when this happens we are being guided to pause and to reflect and be curious about how things are unfolding or not unfolding. You may have a plan, but at the same time there is an over arching plan...the divine plan. Once there is an awareness and understanding of this, it makes the whole trusting the process thing go smoother. Don't get me wrong there can still be challenges, but you might your perspective shifts.
How to trust the process when things do not feel clear.
Meditate: Setting aside some time to quiet the mind and be present with yourself free from external noise has the potential to bring more clarity and meditation does wonders for the nervous system especially if you have been stressed out.
Journal: Journaling gives you an outlet to express what is going on internally into the external. Write from the heart about what your frustrations are, your dreams and the intention behind them, even hypothesize why you believe there could be challenges at the moment.
Communicate: Once again voicing what is going on allows the internal to be made external. Perhaps it is bouncing ideas off of someone for a different vantage point, getting advice(you don't have to take it if you don't want to) or sharing your internal process.
Recalibrate: Look at where things may or may not be in alignment in your life. What is working? What isn't? What requires most of your attention? What brings you joy?How can you experience more joy?
Trust & Believe: There is a higher power and purpose playing out in your life. There is a divine plan. Trust and believe that whatever is going on right now is not happening to you, it is happening for you(even if it doesn't make sense.
When you have gut instincts or nudges that are guiding be open to receive the insights, it might just be a form of GPS there to assist you on the unfolding of the divine plan.
